Conversion fail from chm file to epub, pdf, etc..

Hi, I've been working with calibre from a few months ago.
Never had an issue until this one.

Trying to convert a chm file to epub (mainly), I received an error message saying: "splitting error".

So googling for answers I found this website and a post that says It's better to extract the html files from the chm, then zip them and finally convert to epub with calibre, I've done this and received in the final step the same error...

Checking the details calibre suggested me to activate heuristic processing, done it, but it still won't work...

I hope we could figure this one out, I woul really really appreciate it.
