HTML cleanup on epub conversion
I recently lost a few dozen or so ebooks from my library, which still have on my Kobo.

Using the Touch extended driver, the books are all kepubs, the markup looks fucked up.

Is there a way to clean up the markup on conversion, deleting unused css classes and unneeded tags?

Tried on multiple books, gave me no books modified on each.

Meh, probably means that I have to sit down and regex my arse off.... which is absolutely not my forte....

Somewhere recently Kovid posted a message stating that conversion to MOBI, and then convert that MOBI to EPUB, can have good results for some books when you need to remove mark-up. Apparently MOBI has a fairly thorough, but simplified, set of keywords so it allows a pretty rigorous "dumbing down" of complex ebooks. Of course, you do loose some of the more complex layout.
