I know that before recently you didn't have to manually type in the author name before using the app and sending. It would take the author name from the book metadata. I always set the metadata in the book to show the author name as LN, FN so that it would show up in my Kindle in that sort order - like the books purchased do. However, doing this shows up in COntent & Devices as just the author last name (I HATE that)

When I learned I had to manually type in the name I would do that LN, FN when typing it in. Doing this shows the author in Content and Devices as just the last name and not FN LN or even LN, FN but just LN

The other day I accidentally just typed in the author name FN LN and it showed up in my Kindle in the proper author sort, AND it showed up in C&D as FN LN.

Is this new?
