Sunny but cold. Currently around freezing. This afternoon temperatures will reach 7-8C, which is cold for the time of year. By Thursday next week temperatures will have risen to around 20C again. So a typical spring of yoyo temperatures. At least it's mostly sunny.

Best weather on the planet.
My PV system made nearly a MWh in March, second highest in the last 12 months. Including last summer when daylight hours were at maximum. |

Today we had a beautiful June day -- just a few weeks early. The high temps got to about 82° (F), with some sun and light clouds, and a bit of a breeze. It should be April again by the weekend.

Guy Hagy assures me that we're having "the best weather on the planet". I have to conclude that the rest of the planet is having worse weather than a rainy Tuesday.

There's a thunderstorm passing over now. It's raining really hard, though it shouldn't last too long. Little Luna is with me, both fascinated and a bit scared. For once the lighting is in the right direction for me to see it out of the window and I'm enjoying it.

State government imposed water restrictions on Sydney last Saturday, since Monday there's been steady rain from a solid grey sky.

After last night's lightning bonanza more is on the way for after midnight, possibly a bit sooner. Though it won't be as bad as last night.

Last night's thunderstorm was, again, an impressive one. Again a lot of lightning, but the deluge lasted a long time. I tried to go to sleep around midnight but the storm was too heavy. I read until 2am before trying again.
Today the weather is good; 18C, mostly sunny and a nice breeze. And not nearly as sweaty as previous days. Tomorrow afternoon the next thunderstorm is expected, although they expect it to be over in an hour. We'll get it during the second half of the afternoon. |
