Troubleshooting Strange behavier of my Kindle Voyage (page flip)

Hello together,
since some months my Kindle Voyage (actual SW) acts a little bit confusing:

When I close a book an reopen it again, I see the last page where I have been (that's what I expect).

But: When I try to move to the next page, my kindle jumps to the second page of the next chapter...
This happens nearly every time.
After this first wrong jump everything works like expected.

I checked this with my self made books (sideloaded) and with books I bought from amazon (direct downloaded from amazon). Always the same.

I even made a test book (very simple html, checked by a validator, no styles, converted to AZW3 by calibre). Its the same.

I also restarted my voyage - it did not help.

Does anyone has the same problem - or a solution - or an idea?

I think i found the reason for this strange behavior:

I deleted my own fonts (arial, calibri, cambria, times new roman, verdana) in the fonts-directory on my voyage - now everything is working as expected...

How odd.
Did you load all versions of the fonts onto the kindle? Regular, italic, bold, italic bold.

Apparently not doing this creates issues.
