Illustrated Sony Reader primer

While it doesn't go much beyond what is possible with the standard tools (like converting your own PDF files, etc), it's a good starting place for every Sony Reader newbie:

Doesn't exactly make you want to rush out and buy one, does it?

Loved the bit about "someone asked me about it on the tube - obviously it was a foreigner". The thought of talking to a complete stranger about some "gadget" they had, no matter how intriguing, would be virtually unthinkable to any British person .

I think they're the "Connect" versions. You'll note that they all have the author's name as "firstname lastname" whereas most of our books have "lastname, firstname".

Harry, you are wrong. It happened to me twice today, on the Cardiff to London Intercity trains - once there, once back. On both occasions a man just couldn't take his eyes off the reader and asked about it. Both chaps had very English voices.

Good heavens - I'm shocked! Can it be that we British are losing some of our legendary "reserve"? The end of civilization can't be far off....

I think it was that they were more interested in the sexy lady with the reader then the reader.
