- Fix for date sorting: it uses the timestamp now
- Add a confirmation dialog when deleting books from your goal (you can skip it by unchecking the 'Show this confirmation again' checkbox)

Ah yeah, that makes sense. Though now I wonder if it'd be possible to display the statistics monthly view by page-count as well as book-count

I'll check that, but I'm afraid it might be complicated. The info is not directly available, and the graphic would need to be redesigned, since the page count is a larger number.

I think I've found a small issue (or perhaps a problem with my books):

1. Book marked as "Want to Read" at 2022 (it hasn't migrated to this year)
2. Book added to stats for 2023 (as I've read it now)

The results are:

• Book doesn't appear at stats for 2023
• Books disappear from "Want to Read" at 2022
• Book is marked as "Rereading" with 0% advance at 2022

The auto migrate is triggered when the database is first opened in a new year. It was not designed to work with past years.

I could not reproduce here with this steps:

1) I have a book on my 2022's goal in the 'Want to read' shelf
2) Added this book to my 2023's goal
3) Opened the 'Edit reading goal' dialog and it appears on my 'Want to read' shelf with a (1x) counter*
4) Changed the reading progress to 10%
5) The book now goes to my 'Rereading' shelf
6) Changed to 100% and it goes to my 'Read' shelf
7) In my 'Statistics' graphic, the book count and page count were updated accordingly
8) Looking at my 2022's goal, the book is still there in the 'Want to read' shelf

Could you try it again with another book and see if it happens?

* The reread counter does not check if the book was actually read. I'll change this, so it will count as a reread only if the book was at least started.

I added a book to my reading goal, then changed the title. However, even after re-adding to the 2023 goal, it shows the old title. How do i fix?

I think this is the difference, I added to my 2023's goal... after having read it, not before. Sorry for not having answered before, I hadn't seen the post.

I tested this and still got the same result.
Did you try it with another book?

It's really intriguing what you're describing. For instance, the plugin does not update past years' records. You can even delete the book from calibre and the record would still be preserved (this is not possible for the current year). So, I don't understand how adding the book to the current year could delete it from the 2022's goal.

I found *MY fault*. The book was marked as read but the percentage was set to 0, that's was the issue, sorry to bother you.

I don't think so. The plugin doesn't convert the python date directly. It brakes it down in Year, Month, Day... then creates de QDate/QDateTime object.
