Kindle Version of Terry Pratchett's "Jingo"
Very odd thing I just noticed. I just finished "Jingo" on my Kindle (1), and noticed that at the end, the book begins again at page 1. By that I mean that there are two back to back copies of the book contained within the single file.
I thought it seemed odd that the plot was resolving itself, but it showed that I was only about half way through the book. Has anyone else read this book on the Kindle? And, if so, is your file also a twofer?? |

It's not just the Kindle version of Jingo. The Mobipocket version also has the book duplicated. I just checked my copy.

OK ... that's good to know. I really thought I was losing it there for a second. My second thought was maybe there were two alternate versions of the book, but scanning through the second one, it seems to me that they are exactly the same. Weird. |

I'm wondering if other formats such as MS Reader would not have the same error.

Dredging up my old biology classes -- is this a case of mitosis?
Or spontaneous generation? Or, given the subject matter of the book, of propoganda propogating itself? |
