Here is a link to the Likebook Mars' product page on Amazon. You can find more specs there, as well as reviews from various users. The Mars has Google Play Store, but Google services must be activated before you can use Play Store. The activation process is simple but not intuitive. If you decide to buy, I'll tell you how to do that. My Mars comes with a case and a USB cable. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. |

I think I am interested. My only question is how well does it read pdf files?

The Likebook does a decent job with pdf files. The stock reader app has a number of pdf settings, and page-turning is pretty smooth. The main limitation is that some pdfs may look too small on a 7.8 inch display to be read comfortably. To be honest, the Onyx Nova is better with pdfs - but the Likebook Mars is good.

Just reading a little more and will let you know.
Is there a pdf app from the play store that handles them better? |

I've never used a pdf app on an e-ink device, so I can't say which ones would look good on e-ink. I know that Xodo is very good, but I haven't tried it on e-ink.

You may be able to run the Onyx Neoreader app on the Likebook. The apk is on these forums. If it runs, the Likebook may be able to read pdf files as well as the Onyx. Half of the power of the Onyx is its pdf software Neoreader.

Glad to hear that your devices arrived safely and that you are enjoying them! They both served me well. I'm very pleased with my Nova 2! I thank you both for buying my Nova and Mars, which helps pay for the Nova 2!

I am honestly thinking about upgrading to the Nova 2 after reading more about it. Love to hear your thoughts!
Yes, I know that may seem weird after just buying the Mars! |
