Unzipped files reading as zipped

Been trying to add some zipped html books to Calibre.

Unzipped to a separate folder then added the html file. Calibre is reading it as a zip file.

Loaded it in Firefox re-saved and deleted the original zip. Still being read as a zip.

I'm stumped.

Calibre always stores HTML books as a ZIP file because most HTML books consist of multiple files.
