Try downloading one of those books. However ...
Something is strange. Your screen capture shows the name of your library to be "books". The debug log tells me that CC sees the library name "Books". The folder names should be the same. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. |

You said in an email that you are giving up. I can understand that.
If you want a refund for CC, please see of FAQ I must pay for CC to try it. Can I get a refund if I don't like it? |

The only way to let "someone" (probably me) see what you are seeing is for that "someone" to have access to your dropbox. In other words, you would need to give that "someone" (me) your dropbox user name and password. I don't recommend this because I would have complete access to whatever you have in Dropbox.

Sorry to intrude... It's my understanding that you're syncronizing to dropbox exactly the same library you define in calibre, with folders as they are, so every folder contains only opf, jpg and mobi/lit/epub file for a book.

It is also my understanding that the OP is syncing a complete calibre library. I don't think that it is the "real" library but is instead a copy/paste of that library. |

The problem is that, looking at the thumbnails, I don't feel it as a calibre structure but an user structure.

Update: I see what you mean. When he shows the directory from the Dropbox App that is definitely not calibre's library structure. Looking at his actual CC images it is clear that the files with the names he is showing us is NOT in a calibre library. Last edited by DoctorOhh; 08-17-2017 at 08:46 AM. |

This confusion is why I suggested that the OP go to Dropbox.com and see what is really in the library. As I said earlier, I don't think that the library is totally synced. Why not I cannot say, but I suspect Dropbox space problems. Also, DoctorOhh is correct. Most of what CC's cloud connection shows comes out of metadata.db. The two exceptions are cover thumbs and the books themselves, exactly the things that the OP is having trouble with. |
