Just be careful. Its "holiday" price is $499.

I don't want to see how much it's going to cost after Holidays.

im not sure if I want to get this yet... bought in with the Kindle DX Graphite for $300+ in 2010.... 1.5 years for color eInk early adopter? hmmm

I heard for resolution, its
1600x1200 resolution, but with 4 "bits" for each color, effectviley tis only 800x600?

According to the article, this device is already on the market in eastern Europe. But where? Which countries? Do they ship internationally?

I think for an e-ink tablet the price is OK. Web-browsing without eye-strain.

It's in Russia and Ukraine, but it's some kind of a school programme-slash-test - they use kids as guinea pigs. I wish their parents did reviews...

On the whole, all this secrecy and lack of any constructive information about JBC makes me more inclined towards buying a Boox M92 or Hanvon E920 (if it's possible to get it)...
