How to install apps on hacked PRS-T1

I am sorry, I don't get it...

I have rooted the Sony PRS-T1 with minimal-set-1.zip as described.

Now how do I install new apps like "Readitlater!" oder "Minimalist - ADW Theme" or "NYC Bus & Subway Maps" (at freewarelovers.com)?

Do I have to copy the apk-files via USB in any directory? In this case where do I get the apk-file of "Readitlater!"?

I woud appreciate any help without technical gibberish? Or any link to a Step-by-step description. Thanks.

Basically, this is like regular Android, but without the Market. So, you should be able to copy an APK file to the internal memory, browse to it with Root Explorer, install. Or copy via Dropbox. Or install with ADB. That's what I do.

Some APKs cannot run on the reader, some APKs can only be installed by direct copy to /data

thank you too

Use google "... apk download" or install appmonster on your smartphone. You can use appmonster to safe/backup your install apps. After you can copy the apk-files to your dropbox and download the file on your ebookreader. I don't know if it works, but you can try it.
