Fonts - sharing, suggestions etc.

I thought I should share two fonts I created years ago for use in my first Onyx.
FreeSerifSg8 and FreeSerifSg12 are variants of URW++ Design & Development GmbH's FreeSerif, emboldened by 8% em and 12% em in FontForge to reach the correct balance of "ink and paper" on the screen.
I love FreeSerif as I find it one of the few possible competitors to the Garamond Simoncini.

Procedure for use varies from software to software, but normally one may create a "Fonts" directory in the /sdcard/ - containing the .ttf files, normally four for the four variants of Regular, Bold, Italic and BoldItalic - and have software point to it. Kingsoft Office, an example of an exception, needs to have the fonts copied in a specific folder, /sdcard/KingsoftOffice/.fonts/ (or similar).

Enjoy.

I was in need of a thick sans-serif, so I modified the weight of the DejaVu font (Bitstream and Tavmjong Bah) to quite an amount. Not bold, just very thick.

I only processed the regular (book) set, in case after testing I will post the complete set (R, B, I, BI).

I improved the thickened DejaVu font and completed the set (R, B, I, BI).
Here are the files.

Actually, I am using it with the AR set. But surely it could also be useful on EPD displays.

for me, bookerly and noto-serif are the two best ones after trying dozens of them.
