ebook-convert read cover from remote http location
I tried to run ebook-convert with the cover argument pointing to a remote url, but the conversion fails.
The converter reports the following: (22, "invalid mode ('rb') or filename") (Error Code: 1). With a local copy of the cover the conversion produces the epub output. This is the --cover argument I passed to test the ability to read from a url: --cover="http://craphound.com/someone/cover-small.jpg" I use: ebook-convert.exe (calibre 0.6.24). Is there a way to read the cover from a remote http location or is this not supported? Bas |

Thanks for your quick response. I downloaded 0.6.45 and it works. Should have tried before posting.
