Thanks.
21,5 degrees is the temperature of my radiator. I have my merino wool undershirts on. It is the first time ever that I liked the hothouse temperature of my mother-in-laws apartment (95 years). I'm thinking of emigrating to the Orient. In my cup: hot green Rooibos+mint |

On my way to Abu Simbel I see several trucks going from Nubia, through the Nubian desert, to Egypt, for the large camel market in Bisqar. Those camel heads, bobbing above the railing of an old German beer truck; very funny.
Abu Simbel: The great temple of Rameses II, built between 1274-1244 B.C. 20 meters high and relocated in 1960-1980 to save it from the rising water of the Nile (the dams). In my cup: hot coffee Last edited by desertblues; 01-21-2013 at 09:56 AM. |

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go; Take a look in the five and ten glistening once again With candy canes and silver lanes aglow. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas Toys in ev'ry store But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be On your own front door. ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYTnzNeTWmE ) Good morning, everyone! Quote:

Chores done, getting ready to polish my guitar, and drinking a mug of Keemun tea.
But can you see Tuareg Warriors riding Arabian stallions, each of them looking like Sean Connery, galloping across desert sands in November/December? Some things are just too important to miss! Stitchawl |

Nope you cannot. But you won't see that at any other time and Egypt really is wonderful. Hopefully things settle down there and Democracy prevails. I had my doubts when everything kicked off. I fear the people are going to be disappointed.
Lucas ate at 7 pm and slept all the way to 3 am. We are so close. Solids seem to be helping. I can't believe he is preparing to crawl. |

Nope. My family is coming for Christmas and has been given notice that they are part of the baby proofing crew. The two eldest have kids and will have a better idea about what trouble Lucas will get himself into.
Pu-erh Seven Sons in my cup. I love having my kettle at work. |
