I`m reading in serbian language I had some trouble with some of serbian letters - when I use calibre it shows ???? and other signs instead of actual letter but with TXT files it works just fine. We can`t buy legal digital books in our country yet but I hope that will change soon...

Have you checked the Sony forum yet? I am sure there are more people with your problem. Not sure if a solution for the Sony has been found, but it's certainly worthwhile checking out.

Are you reading books in english or in serbian only?
