Benson, E. F.: David Blaize of King’s. v1. 04 Apr 2021
Benson’s 1924 sequel to David Blaize follows David’s university career at King’s College, Cambridge. There is less discussion of sports and games, with more emphasis on character interaction and studies. But pranks and fun still abound.
* * * * Edward Frederic “E. F.” Benson (1867–1940) was an English novelist, biographer, memoirist, and short story writer. He was the prolific author of more than 100 books. He is now especially noted for his Mapp and Lucia novels, but during his lifetime he was best known for his ghost and horror stories. Most of the books of E. F. Benson are available from the MobileRead library. * * * * This book, originally published in 1924, is in the public domain where copyright is “Life+70” or less, and in the USA.
