Are you referring to the rendition the viewer creates in the calibre-cache directory?

Added: I use the word 'rendition' because the viewer unpacks and converts the format being viewed into a calibre specific (epub-like) normalised form, which takes time. In the case of a PDF, the postscript must be converted to XHTML, which can take several minutes.

Even better, re-compressing an already-compressed file has a good chance of making it larger.

A friend came up with a suggestion for a plugin, let's see what you think and if someone can develop it.
A plugin that, using the netbook's integrated camera, can scan the isbn codes of physical books to add to calibre

A plugin that copies a format file to the data folder with an ISO timestamp (YYYYMMDD:HHMMSS) pre-pended to the filename. I do it with an AHK script, but a plugin would be 'nicer'.

Usage - to secure a copy in a known state, before undertaking serious editing over several days.

Is there any way/Plugin to show all shared users' view/download of ebooks?

Dear All,

To make a better collection for users of books, it is necessary to know how many times each book is used (view/download). So, Is there any way/Plugin to show all shared users' view/download of ebooks?

You can use the Reading List plugin to show what eBooks have been downloaded.

Thank you so much, but it's seems that reading list plugin is about "books they would like to read next and in which order." not about books they read.

I use Reading List to keep track of what books are on my Reader. You can do the same thing except you don't have to have the column emptied when a book is removed from the Reader. So you would be able to keep track of what books are on the Reader.

Also, if they are using a Kobo Reader, you can keep track of which books have been read.

Where do you want to use the plugin? GUI interface? Browser showing content server?

There is a Python library called drpg on PyPi. I am reading through the plugin development documentation now. However, if someone is more ready to do this, please.

I find the official DriveThruRPG Library Client to be not as good. I would like to be able to run my DTRPG library from a sever and access it on my network or share with my players.
I'm interested in a solution like that as well.

Hi calibre plugin experts,

it's probably a noob question, but is there a plugin to swap the values of author and title fields?

Built in to the standard Calibre. It is the icon to the right of the title on the Metadata editor screen (or a tick box if in bulk mode. Caution about Bulk mode, is it applies to ALL SELECTED)
