Installing to Calibre2 directory

I have just installed 0.6.19 on Win 7 64 bit. Is there any reason why it has installed to a "C:\Program Files (x86)\Calibre2" directory, with an extra 2 on the end?

I tried uninstalling and restalling, but the msi does not give an option to enter the installation location.

It does if you select "Advanced" rather than "Install" after accepting the GPL license.

What is the reason for using ...\Calibre2 as the default install directory rather than ...\Calibre ?
