Amazon lists 5.9.7 as the latest Kindle firmware update
I was browsing the Kindle firmware update pages to find out the latest version of the firmware for my KOA2 which is currently on 5.10.1.1. I have seen a reference to 5.10.1.2 in one of the topics. I was hoping to find this version. What I found is that Amazon links to 5.9.7 as the latest firmware in both UK and US. The other Kindles have the 5.9.7 as the latest firmware as well.

I was wondering whether there is a glitch in Amazon web site

Before the latest update was pulled version 5.10.1.2 was only for the new PW4 and had the equivalent feature list to version 5.10.1.1 on the older Kindle models.

I suspect that a new set a releases that fix the bug (whatever it is) but adds no other new features will be out shortly.
