Seriously though, why has Microsoft redesigned their MSLit website for their Microsoft Reader software that hasn't been updated for three years? Something new must be in the works.

I wonder if a new, lightweight and usable tablet or slate PC is on the horizon. If "they" would just make a netbook with touchscreen display that flipped like a convertible tablet PC, they'd be really close to something really nice. And you could read ebooks in any and all formats available with it. Or am I just dreaming?

Using the latest entry in the WayBackMachine at www.archive.org, you can relive the glory of yesteryear (err, yestersemiyear...) of this "lost" website. You can even download free .lit ebooks from there too!

The above link will show you what you're missing (or not) now that the www.mslit.com website is gone!
