The Left Hand of Darkness
Amazon's site shows a picture of a Kindle edition of LeGuin's book, and a couple of readers giving reviews of the book show that they're reviewing the Kindle edition of the book, but the site says not available for purchase. Anyone have thoughts about what is going on?

It's certainly available from Amazon as a Kindle book in the UK. Perhaps the reviewer got it from there.

Yeah, for some reason, you can see UK reviews of a book on the US site, but not vice versa. This bugged me because I wanted my US reviews to show up on the UK site to help bolster visibility, but no such luck; Amazon said that it was a one way street for now.

Are you sure? I quite often see reviews of books from "amazon.com" when I'm reading a book description on "amazon.co.uk".

Well gee whiz, that doesn't put the perceived written communication skills of Americans in a very positive light, now does it? Though unfortunately, my compatriots so often offer precious little evidence to suggest such a policy is unreasonable...

I want to say that I'd seen this as well, but when I went to check, what I saw with a few random titles is at the bottom of the page is that it says "want more reviews? Go to amazon.com..." Perhaps it depends on the book or maybe the UK site recently changed its policy.
