My wife swears I turned into a different person when I got off the meds in my early 20s. I've been on steroids a few times since then, and the horrible moods returned. |

Let's see -- teenager, lots of energy, smart, and dealing with non-traditional identity issues. Angry all the time -- you do realize that could just have been related to factors other than inhaled corticosteroids, I'm sure!
I routinely take inhaled steroids for asthma -- I had exercise induced asthma for years and years -- 10 minutes into a run, bike or swim, I'd have horrible hacking, coughing and wheezing. But I could just run through it and then be fine. Unfortunately, in the last dozen years, that's turned into full bore asthma. The good news is, they've gotten much smarter about inhaled steroids -- they really don't produce a systemic effect in the same way they used to, and I'm fine with those. But the 50mg Prednisone pills are the pits. |

Yeah, and now I've got a two day headache from it. Ah, well. Last day, I hope!
Coffee, lots of it. But switching to faux San Pellegrino shortly. |

(not sure how I felt about the descriptor either, but couldn't come up with a better one before my first cup of coffee. Was trying for neutral, and if I failed, then mea culpa.) Last edited by CRussel; 06-01-2018 at 04:43 PM. |

First tea of the day. I finished off the Taiwanese Oolong and opened a can of Foojoy brand Ti Kuan Yin. It's good -- a bit "earthier" than the Taiwanese Oolong.

Definitely Peet's Major Dickasons this morning. Mere tea will not get the job done today.
