calibre 5.14: error generating catalog

is neither in TEMP nor anywhere else, while this morning, in regular mode, I found the first catalog (different name, so no overwriting risk).

Might it be because I have too many books (more than 12000), too many tags (107), or because since I updated to the 5.x.x for Calibre I am back to 32 bits? I'll have to find again the way to turn the portable version into 64 bits.
