Question Automatic formats relinking

I need to relink book's format in my Calibre library.
For some reason many books have not anymore the file linked but files are into their respective folders.
There is a way to do the work automatically?

Thank you
Claudio

What you describe, is what happens when someone uses the OS to try and adjust / repair a problem.
Run Library Maintainence:Check..., (right click the Library Icon) to identify how many issues you have).

BACK UP THE ENTIRE LIBRARY FOLDER (just in case). The folder is the one that CONTAINS metadata.db AND alll the Authors)

Now try Library Maintenance: Restore Database. THIS CAN TAKE some time, depending on how big your Library is. BUT is way faster than ADD, and it uses existing metadata which probably has not been (or can't, depending on the format) embedded into the Library copy
