convert to gutenberg format... upload to eucalyptus?

Hi guys and gals,

I have been using eucalyptus which is great, but I have also read from the author´s site that they still wont allow uploading of your own texts, because they need to make sure to mantain the quality. My question is about, formatting. I would like to know, if, theoretically at least, if you convert a text to the same format as the gutenberg project (ascii I believe??) would that be readable in eucalyptus? There is a txt inside every book you download from the app, and i substituted the text with one of my own, it kinda worked but they are in spanish, so punctuation tildes and such do not appear correctly, besides the app crashed. I think it might be possible, but i dont know how to convert text to ascii.

What do you guys think?
