Bejeweled 2 FREE today only [ENDED]

Today only Bejeweled 2 the 10th anniversary edition is free on www.popcap.com 10/10/10!!

I happened on this today as my father was wanting it on his netbook but since he doesn't have a cd drive I couldn't install it for him. We went to the popcap page and it was advertised for free today only. No credit card info necessary to get it either! Scoop it up while you can, save $20!!!

Just thought I'd pass it along.

Because having it on my phone (regular), my DS Lite (blitz), and in WoW isn't enough, I have to have it on my computer, too. *downloads*

I'm evil, I'm going to afflict my brother-in-law with this thing, too. Let's see how his productivity suffers!

Got it, thanks. However, it might only be a trial version that disables itself so that you either have to delete it or buy it for 20 bucks! We shall see.

Over at Big Fish Games you can get Bejeweled 2 Deluxe for $6.99 (download) and it doesn't expire. I think you can get a CD with it on for just a few bucks more from Big Fish as well. They do have trial editions (useful to make sure your computer can play the game) and you can click to activate it (buy the full unlimited version) without having to unload the trial version 1st. I've bought many games from them (mostly for my desktop) and had no problems.

This isn't a trial. On the page with my order number/activation number is clearly stated that if you had the trial version you could put this code in to activate the regular version.

Thanks, I really needed another time killer. LOL

I got Bookworm for my DS ... love that game. Yeah, out of all the "real" games I own, I get hooked on Bookworm and Bejeweled. The guys at PopCap are onto something. They regularly extract money from me while the big game companies make me think "Sixty bucks? I'll wait until it's on clearance."

Y'know, there's a lesson for book publishers in there. Baen gets my "name" publisher money for ebooks, them and O'Reilly; the rest goes to Smashwords and small publishers. Rather like PopCap.

And crich, why would I pay a third party seven bucks for what PopCap is giving me for free? That makes no sense.
