wie reinigt Ihr euren Reader?

Was nehmt Ihr denn so um das Display zu reinigen? Kann man Alkohol nehmen oder besser nur ein mit Wasser befeuchtetes Tuch?
Ich kauf mir für den Urlaub die Displayschutzfolie und möchte ihn davor mal sauber machen.

Ich nehme immer diese Reinigungstücher. Und habe damit gute Erfahrungen gemacht. Hab zwar keinen Sony, sondern ein BeBook - aber das Display ist ja bei beiden Geräten e-paper, das sollte also keinen Unterschied machen.

Ich nehme einfach nur ein feuchtes Tuch (Wasser, sonst nichts, also kein Reinigungsmittel dazu). Hat bisher eigentlich immer gut funktioniert.

Danke! Das mit dem Meerwasser werd ich dann auf phuket ausprobieren. obs da wohl auch den sony reader gibt?
Hab jetzt die Displayschutzfolie. Aber die lässt sich gar nicht gut anbringen. Hab immer Luft bläschen unter der Folie. Da nützt auch das ganze glattstreichen mit der Karte nix. Hat von euch wer die Folie drauf? Vielleicht hat ja wer einen Tip für mich?

Also eine Folie würde ich nicht draufmachen. Das Display vom PRS-505 hat selbst schon eine gute Kratzfestigkeit und die Folie verdirbt die optische Qualität.
Wenn es denn doch sein soll.... Die Folie nicht trocken auflegen sondern immer mit etwas Feuchtigkeit. Dazu und zum Reinigen verwende ich immer ein Spray von Data-Flash speziell für Displays. www.data-flash.com

Allgemein sollte das Reinigungsmittel keinen scharfen Alkohol enthalten, denn sonst besteht die Gefahr, dass das Display langfristig matt wird. Der Alkohol löst zwar die Verschmutzungen, diese trocknen dann aber wie ein zäher, schlieriger Film ein und lassen sich nachträglich nicht mehr lösen.

Ja, Folie ist nicht notwendig. Wenn Du es aber trotzdem mal versuchen möchtest, genügen ein paar kleine Tropfen auf das Display zu sprühen. Da ist keine Gefahr für den Reader. Es soll ja nur ein ganz dünner Flüssigkeitsfilm zwischen Displayoberfäche und Folie entstehen.
