KAnki & KWordle: Apps for Jailbroken Kindle

Hey MobileRead community! I've created two apps for jailbroken Kindle devices that I wanted to share with you all.

KAnki: Flashcard App with Spaced Repetition

KAnki lets you learn any language using flashcards with a spaced repetition system on your Kindle.

Key Features
  • Learn any language by just changing the font and vocabulary
  • Spaced repetition for efficient learning
  • Filter cards by level (JLPT, CEFR, HSK, etc.)
  • Star important cards
  • Reverse cards between languages
  • Track your progress with card statistics


KWordle: Wordle for Kindle

Key Features
KWordle brings the popular Wordle game to your Kindle with:
  • 5-letter word gameplay optimized for e-ink displays
  • Multiple languages (English, French, German)
  • Keyboard input support
  • Game statistics tracking

Installation

For both apps:
  1. Download the release from GitHub repo.
  2. Connect your Kindle to your computer via USB
  3. Copy the app folder and .sh script to the documents folder on your Kindle
  4. Disconnect and enjoy!

Both apps are built with ES5 JavaScript for compatibility with Kindle's browser and are optimized for e-ink displays.

Hi, thanks for kwordle app.
I have a small problem probably not directly related to your app: I can start /mnt/us/documents/kwordle.sh from kterm but that shortcut/startup don’t show up on my "Library" Home Screen next to others documents.

Update: fixed by running again Universal hotfix on my device.

Yup , got your issue on github repo , glad you were able to fix it with the universal hotfix
