Multiple Pdf versions in one book?
Hi
What is the best way to maintain multiple pdf versions of the same book? As far as I can tell Calibre only excepts one file per format. I personally would like to have multiple pdf versions like the actual pdf, optimized pdf(for ereaders), another version for another device etc. Is this possible with Calibre? thanks |

Another alternative is to rename the file to blahblah.pdf2 (and pdf3, pdf4 ...) and associate the pdfn extensions with your normal pdf reader, not sure how you could handle that on Kobo Glo
You will need Add the blahblah.pdfn to book blahblah via Add files to selected book records (shift/a) - you cant drag/drop 'foreign formats' into book details You wont be able to convert the pdfn with calibre Useful if your main motive is to have everything in one place. In practice I'd suggest using a meaningful extension - eg pdf4kobo, pdf4nook etc BR Last edited by BetterRed; 05-31-2013 at 06:20 PM. |
