Morley, Christopher: Parnassus on Wheels, v.1, 20 Jan 2008.

Parnassus on Wheels is a 1917 novel written by Christopher Morley and published by Doubleday, Page & Company. The title refers to the Mount Parnassus of Greek mythology; it was the home of the Muses.
It is about a fictional traveling book-selling business. The original owner of the business, Roger Mifflin, sells it to 39-year-old Helen McGill, who is tired of taking care of her ailing older brother, Andrew.

Morley's The Haunted Bookshop is also available on Mobileread.

Thanks, I really enjoyed this. It's well formatted and I didn't find one typo, not that I was looking, I was too caught up by the story of an early prototype of the mobile library and the great characters who run it. It has a really warm story to curl up with on a cold winter night.

Be sure to read this then read the sequel, "The Haunted Bookshop". Thanks Ben.

Thank you BenG, and BookCat for the recommendation. I plan on reading both this and the sequel uploaded by Dr. Drib.
