Who needs a Karma injection?

I am seeing some people who really, really should be getting karma from the whole of us, because of the great service they're doing.

I'd like to highlight a blatant case: mgmueller, the creator of a thread which insightfully evaluates, compares and discusses almost everything else which is in the market. The thread is this one: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49817

I am amazed that the man has so little karma rewards. He's given a great service to the community. I suggest to load his first post as much as possible.

I tend to find that people get more Karma if they hang out in the lounge then in the device related boards. It probably has something to do with making friends and the like.

I try to make sure I give karma to any post I really think deserves it. Anything that made me laugh or that was really thoughtful or informative, helpful, etc. There's a lot of that around here.

I also had no idea that I could see who gave it to me until about a month ago

I had to send a bunch of belated thank you's.

I have never understood the way karma works here either. Lots of people who give tons of help and encouragement have relatively little karma. One person on here has over 4 million karma and all they seem to do is post the names of types of tea thay have tried!

It's a crazy world

Hey anyone who drinks tea and discusses it on a regular basis is deserving of Karma. The beauty of the leaf leads to serenity and positive karma.

Very true. K on the way. I've often read his updates on the thread.

I try to stop by the book upload thread as often as I remember to give Karma. These members seems to get very little Karma for their efforts.

You get more karma for a smart ass remark than you do by helping people.

I am not saying one is better to do than the other I am just stating fact.
