Android 8.1 GO
Has anyone looked into the GO version of Android 8.1 to see how well it would work with eBook Readers and eBook reading apps. Seems like it would be a natural for future apps and devices, with it lower requirements. If you have never heard of it see our wiki Android.

I have been hoping since Google announced Android Go that ebook Oems will move to it. Another reason I like this to happen is Google Project Treble that started with Android 8 would result in open roms that anyone could install on any device without worrying about their device hardware drivers. Meaning future devices would still be updated long after the oem's give up on them.
