Do you still have these? * Download and install the AICP 8.1 custom ROM image * Download and install the Gapps 8.1 "pico" version They have been removed from the site that you refer to and I'd love to have a go at what you've done... Although I'm not so confident with tech! Last edited by Novice123; 10-01-2020 at 09:04 AM. |

I'm now running Lineage 17.1 (Android 10) on my Nexus 7 (2013) wifi. It took some hunting at xda developers, but I finally got the pieces together. I needed to update TWRP to 3.4. Then, I needed to expand the system partition because Pie and Q require more room for system apps. There's a script you can download from xda and then flash through TWRP that will do this painlessly. Then wipe your current ROM, install Lineage 17.1 and one of the smaller gapps packages, and you should be good to go.
Android 10 runs well on the ol' Nexus 7, though I occasionally encounter moments when it lags briefly. Still, overall, it runs smoothly. |
