BBC Radio do a shed load of radio drama and book readings. There's a BBC Radio station, "BBC Radio 4 Extra" - available through the BBC iPlayer - that transmits it 24h a day. And the good news is that, unlike TV, radio programmes are available world-wide.

I enjoyed these narrations especially because I like James McAvoy. Thanks for sharing the link. I had previously listened to Neverwhere as an audiobook narrated by Neil Gaiman.

I totally forgot about this. Am I looking at it wrong or is it not available anymore?

Sadly it seems to have been made unavailable. Initially it was showing each episode as being available for "over one year" I think it said, and just the last one was going to be up for 24 hours. Then they all became unavailable.
I did manage to listen to it right through and thought it was very well done, as you would expect. Maybe they are going to issue it on disc and so have withdrawn it. Sorry you missed it, odiakkoh. |

Darn, Neverwhere is one of my favorite books and it looked like a superb cast. I hope it would become available for purchase, I would definitely buy it.

Neverwhere is available at OverDrive. Check your libraries to see if they carry it.

Yes but that is the version narrated by the author, which having listened to both I can say is a very different experience. This radio version was very well done. Too bad they didn't make it available for longer.
