The company I ordered my planner from was able to track down my package. It's at a pick up point. Of course not one of the five that is within a 10 minute walk from my home, but one across town.
And of course rain is predicted for this afternoon, so I might have to wait to pick up the package until tomorrow. Hopefully I can pick it up without the "you weren't home, so you can pick up your package at this point....". |

That's my question too - in the 2 years I've had my PW I don't recall ever restarting it - since I have a cover I don't even use the on-off switch more than once or twice a month when I accidentally let it go to sleep with the cover open...

I didn't have a magnetic cover until recently, and I've still never accidentally pressed the on/off button long enough to bring up the reset/restart question.

Well, then, if you feel like it, and it's you who has to reload all your books each time...then I guess you're the one in the driving seat. If you hate reloading the books each time--which, IIRC, was the V&R in the first place, yes?--then don't feel like it. Right?

What annoys me is the left turn lanes that turn to NOWHERE!
I saw a Chipolte I wanted to eat at and got into the left turn lane to get there and there was no street or entrance to the strip mall to turn into! What the heck? I had no choice but to do a uturn Why would they build a left turn lane with left turn arrows with no street or entrance way to turn into? It was a turn lane not at an intersection but it was in front of the shops. It was like they intended to make a driveway at that point into the strip mall but forgot LOL Also roundabouts. The figure 8 kind. We have one we got to maneuver to go straight and there is a highway exit and a side street entering the loop also. I get confused every time and end up going the wrong way I was heading. Reminds me of National Lampoon European Vacation movie where they get caught in the loop. We never had them in the past but cropping up all around Kansas City, MO and KS |

So, my day starts out at work wondering where the heck my office supply order is. I order, stuff usually comes next day unless it's later in the day and then it's 2 days later. Well, it's now Friday and no order. I know I ordered it Tuesday or Wednesday.
Check the order history on the website and it says delivered Wednesday morning and signed for my Leehn. Umm, nope, it was NOT delivered to me and there's no one that has that last name. Got on chat on the website only for them to tell me when it was delivered and who signed for it. Yeah, thanks buddy but I found that out on my own. Well, he'll escalate my issue and their customer response team will get back to me within 4 hours. Customer response emails me in about 2 hours with, wait for it, the date/time my order was delivered and who signed for it. They hope that helps me. No, not so much and I told them so. End of the day comes and no email back. Really? They have that many issues contacting their carrier to find out where the heck my order is??? So then I had to call them only to be told AGAIN when my order was delivered and who signed for it. No, I still don't know who that is and I'm quite sure I don't have my order. They don't seem to care now that their carrier delivered it wrong but at least they're re-sending it. Lets just hope it makes it to me next week. |

The Netherlands, at least in the south, is probably world champion in roundabouts. The government is on a quest to replace all traffic lights with them.
Yes, they are more efficient, but they are also more dangerous. For many people, a red light still was an incentive to stop, as driving through it could net you quite a hefty fine. A roundabout? Nope. People do the craziest stuff on these things, and it's the main reason why I don't even dare to ride a bike anymore. Due to poor eyesight I'm not allowed to drive a car, but I can still legally drive a bike. Up until the government started to replace traffic lights with roundabouts, that was what I did... until I got hit, _almost_, several times in a few days, by people who just _could not wait_ before I passed and tried to cut me. |
