enTourage eDGe Tutorial Video

Just posted...nothing ground-breaking, but still gets the mouth to water a little bit, anticipating the first shipments...

Thanks. I hadn't seen that one.

I know there are some developer types following the eDGe. Question for them (because I know nothing about software developement): everyone expects thousands/millions of apps to be developed for Android by the end of the year. Are those apps device specific or can they be used on any Android based machine?

Most of the apps anticipated by the end of the year are really built for the capabilities of a phone device. A good number of the apps will not work with the Edge simply because the Edge doesn't have the supporting hardware. If the app is built for the 1.6 version of Android released with the Edge and the Edge has the hardware needed for the app to run, then the app will work.

The video has been removed from youtube. Anything interesting for those of us who didn't have a chance to watch it before it was pulled?

Not really. Use of the Audio recording. Shows the use of the SD card and the USB ports. Shows the Headset and Microphone jacks being used. Shows what each of the buttons do as well as how to use the jog button. Nothing really groundbreaking. If you have payed attention to the previous footage available about the Edge, you will have seen most of the tutorial.
