Free (Kindle/Nook/Christianbook) Church History: An Essential Guide [Reference]

Church History: An Essential Guide by Justo L. González is just what it says in the title, free courtesy of Christian publisher Abingdon's Essential Guide series.

Currently free @ Amazon UK, will likely drop in the main store. Does not seem to exist at B&N, so who knows where else it might show up.

Speaking of history, three Abingdon freebies are scheduled to repeat for the umpteenth time, so pre-emptive linkage so you can price-drop check before the old threads get updated in the morning:

Date With Destiny by Rev Joseph Walker
I Shall Not Want by Debbie Viguie
Medical Error by Richard Mabry

Description
One of the chief difficulties in studying the history of Christianity is the lack of prior exposure to the subject that students often bring with them. Struggling to keep up with the large numbers of names, dates, and places presented to them, it is easy for students to lose sight of the "big picture," the broad sweep of movement and change that instructors most wish to communicate. Justo Gonzalez has written this book to help students gain just such a quick and basic grasp of the main periods and issues in the history of Christianity.

Drawing upon his own extensive experience and that of others, he contends that having been introduced to the essentials of church history in a brief and accessible form, students are far better able to understand and appreciate what they encounter in more detailed lectures and reading.

Gonzalez provides a comprehensive opening chapter that summarizes major issues and concerns of each of the principal eras of church history. Subsequent chapters focus on the ancient church, the Christian empire, the Middle Ages, the Reformation, the seventeenth through nineteenth centuries, and the twentieth century and the end of modernity.

Now also free @ Christian Book.

And the repeat freebies are all live at Amazon, B&N, and Christian Books, though they've all been offered umpteen times so it's probably not worth putting a new notice in the old threads as Abingdon has only been freebieing things for 2 days at a time and they'll just have 1 more day left as of now before they expire.

But links in the old threads should still work, and if not, then you can try directly from Christian Books' official Free eBooks page and the Free NookBook Summary blog which will have the valid ones.
