FREE (Kindle) Several titles from Severed Press [Horror]

Biohazard by Tim Curran-

"The day after tomorrow: Nuclear fallout. Mutations. Deadly pandemics. Corpse wagons. Body pits. Empty cities. The human race trembling on the edge of extinction. Only the desperate survive. One of them is Rick Nash. But there is a price for survival: communion with a ravenous evil born from the furnace of radioactive waste. It demands sacrifice. Only it can keep Nash one step ahead of the nightmare that stalks him-a sentient, seething plague-entity that stalks its chosen prey: the last of the human race. To accept it is a living death. To defy it, a hell beyond imagining."

Skin Medicine by Tim Curran-

"An unspeakable evil is stalking the Utah Territories in 1882. Civil War veteran and bounty hunter Tyler Cabe, who is tracking a merciless killer, must find a way to battle something beyond the imagination of living man."
http://www.amazon.com/Skin-Medicine-...=AG56TWVU5XWC2

Necrophobia:Zombie Apocalypse by Jack Hamlyn-

"An ordinary summer's day.
The grass is green, the flowers are blooming. All is right with the world. Then the dead start rising. From cemetery and mortuary, funeral home and morgue, they flood into the streets until every town and city is infested with walking corpses, blank-eyed eating machines that exist to take down the living.
The world is a graveyard.
And when you have a family to protect, it's more than survival.
It's war."
http://www.amazon.com/Necrophobia-1-...=AG56TWVU5XWC2

White Flag of the Dead by Joseph Talluto-

"Millions died when the Enillo Virus swept the earth. Millions more were lost when the victims of the plague refused to stay dead, instead rising to slay and feed on those left alive. For survivors like John Talon and his son Jake, they are faced with a choice: Do they submit to the dead, raising the white flag of surrender? Or do they find the will to fight, to try and hang on to the last shreds or humanity?"
http://www.amazon.com/White-Flag-Dea...=AG56TWVU5XWC2

Demonmachy: Demon Apocalypse by Brant Danay

"As the universe slowly dies, all demonkind is at war in a tournament of genocide. The prize? Nirvana. The Necrodelic, a death addict who smokes the flesh of his victims as a drug, is determined to win this afterlife for himself. His quest has taken him to the planet Grystiawa, and into a duel with a dream-devouring snake demon who is more than he seems. Grystiawa has also been chosen as the final battleground in the ancient spider-serpent wars. As armies of arachnid monstrosities and ophidian gladiators converge upon the planet, the Necrodelic is forced to choose sides in a cataclysmic combat that could well prove his demise. Beyond Grystiawa, a Siamese twin incubus and succubus, a brain-raping nightmare fetishist, a gargantuan insect queen, and an entire universe of genocidal demons are forming battle plans of their own. Observing the apocalyptic carnage all the while is Satan himself, watching voyeuristically from the very Hell in which all those who fail will be damned to eternal torment. Who will emerge victorious from this cosmic armageddon? "

The Living End by James Robert Smith

"One Hundred and Fifty Million Zombies. Sixty Million Dogs. All of them hungry for warm human flesh. The dead have risen, killing anyone they find. The living know what's caused it-a vicious contagion. But too late to stop it. For now, what remains of society are busy shutting down nuclear reactors and securing chemical plants to prevent runaway reactions in both. There's little time for anything else. Failed comic book artist Rick Nuttman and his family have joined thousands of other desperate people in trying to find a haven from the madness."
http://www.amazon.com/The-Living-End...=AG56TWVU5XWC2

The Collector of Names by Miha Mazzini

"Available in English for the first time by best selling Slovenian Author Miha Mazzini comes and unforgettable tale of terror, comradeship and survival. On an isolated island "The Name Collector" waits to fulfill his destiny to bring death and destruction upon the world. Standing in his way-Aco and his band of brothers- a geriatric fighting force that have been training and waiting for this day since childhood. As the Name Collector asks each his name he takes it. But what's in a name and can anyone survive without a name-even for one horrific night? "

Zombie Zoology by Tim Curran-

"Zombie Zoology an Unnatural History: Severed Press has assembled a truly original anthology of never before published stories of living dead beasts. Inside you will find tales of prehistoric creatures rising from the Bog, a survivalist taking on a troop of rotting baboons, a NASA experiment going Ape, A hunter going a Moose too far and many more undead creatures from Hell. The crawling, buzzing, flying abominations of mother nature have risen and they are hungry."
http://www.amazon.com/Zombie-Zoology...N%3DB004GXB0BA

Dead Bait by David Dunwoody-

"A husband hell-bent on revenge hunts a Wereshark...A Russian mail order bride with a fishy secret...Crabs with a collective consciousness...A vampire who transforms into a Candiru...Zombie piranha...Bait that will have you crawling out of your skin and more. Drawing on horror, humor with a helping of dark fantasy and a touch of deviance, these 19 contemporary stories pay homage to the monsters that lurk in the murky waters of our imaginations. If you thought it was safe to go back in the water...Think Again!"

Torment by Brett McBean-

"Former jailbird Jim Clayton never was much good at controlling his anger, nor minding his own business. So when he winds up in the tiny mountain town of Billings, Georgia, and witnesses a man attacking a teenage girl named Darlene, he can't help but step in. Unfortunately for Jim, the man is the local Police Chief. And in Billings, the police don't bother with jail for people who assault officers - no, outsiders such as Jim are taken up into the mountains and hunted like wild animals. Only this time, the hunters aren't prepared for a tough ex-con whose will to survive is equal to their bloodlust. Nor a stranger with a most unusual possession - a human soul. A soul he's desperate to sell; a curse he's desperate to be free from. When Darlene buys the soul, unwittingly transferring the curse onto herself, Jim once again steps in to save her, discovering he must face the demons of his past to do so, while fighting to stay alive against the band of savage hunters."

The Hell Season by Ray Wallace-

"Thomas Wright awakens to discover that his family has vanished. None of their possessions are missing. The clothes that they slept in are still in their beds. All too soon it becomes apparent that nearly everyone in town has disappeared, that only he and a few select others remain.

Then the sky starts to rain blood."

i can personally vouch for many of these titles. Tim Curran is my current favorite horror author and Biohazard is a lot of fun if you like gooey, squishy Resident Evil/Fallout 3 style type monsters. unfortunately it looks like the formatting on said book is a tad dire.

here's a link to Severed Press on Amazon, they have several other titles available for free.

I agree...Biohazard was pretty good...did remind me alot of Fallout 3, it was a bit odd at points, but was entertaining. Im going to pick a couple more up, thanks for the links.
