Android New Dolphin Browser

Hello All!!!

Yes, a new version is out! but, no we dont have access to the market place. And no, we are not running 2.2 so we cant install the Dolphins Browser HD version.

Do they release the standard version at the same time? Maybe someday, someone will find the updated apk and point to it so we measly, non-market place nobodies can beg off of someone else to install a basic but good web browser.

Sorry for the sarcasm. The apps hurdle is starting to wear on me. I see the new apps in the edge store and that rocks. I am thankful for that at least.

I am with you. Why restricting a "market" for free applications. This policy works against all non-phone android devices like EE, Archos, ...

Thanks OncTech. My point was that when things get released, we have to hunt and sometimes beg to get what should be available to all. Your link points to a site that is great but its current Dolphins Browser HD is 2.1 but if we had market place access we could get 2.3 today. The HD 2.3 won't install on the edge I know that. it is the fact that android market Place should be open. Not an edge issue...

I was wondering if the release timeline coincided with the NON-hd version.
