So just got a response back from Onyx today. Apparently they had my device fixed over a month ago, but when they sent the notifying email out, they didn't send it properly. Oh well, better late than never.

Anyways, they just need me to pay $25 for shipping back to US. Not a big deal, I sent it. I'll report back with a status update once I receive it.

FYI, it cost me roughly $25 to send the device to Onyx from the US. They gave me an address in English, and just to be safe I also put down the address in Chinese which seemed to correlate; it's the "REPAIRS" address in Chinese from this website: http://www.booxstore.com/index.php/z...10-27-02-16-59 . But I wouldn't send the device to that address without first getting an email from Onyx requesting that your device be shipped.

same here

i have the same problem after updating tot 1.7.5.
does anyone have a older firmware version? for the c67ml (not carta)

i had the same problem. I received the 1.7.0 firmware . Installed it and everything is working.

Did you get that from Onyx? I kept asking them for an older firmware, but I wasn't able to get anywhere with them on that. Instead they said I had to send them my device.

Got the device back today from Onyx; they shipped it via DHL. Looks to be working fine. Has the latest firmware on it. Also has Google Play Store on it .

Nice to hear that they fixed the problem. Ps. I got the firmware from the e store were i bought the e ereader.

Any chance someone can link to 1.7.0? I can't see to find it anywhere and I've got 2 dead readers (Carta + standard)
