How to install dictionary on Energy Sistem Por HD

I have just received my first Energy Sistem Pro HD, my first Android reader. Totally impressed with the screen and the screen sensitivity. I can highlight or mark text so much easier than on Kobo Aura One.

However, for some reasons, I cannot use its dictionary. I have followed their instruction (https://www.energysistem.com/en/guide/42535) to the letter. But the Dictionary app and on FBReader keep saying the the dictionary is empty, even though, I have put 3 dictionaries (http://stardict.rrr.rs/babylon/english/index.html) on the root folder as described in the manual.

What did I do wrong? What did I miss? Can someone please help me? I don't really want to return this device, but the lack of dictionary function does annoy me a lot.

Has you created a carpet named DICT in the root folder and decompressed the tar files?
I just found this page http://download.huzheng.org with a lot of dictionaries, even a wikipedia offline .

Yes, it is on the root folder. The dictionaries are recognized by the Dictionary app, but if I type a word, it keeps saying that the dictionaries are empty.

make sure you have at least 3 files of each dictionary in the folder *.idx *.ifo and *.dz.
dont know if it would help you.try downloading other dictionaries , is strange that does not work
I recommend you to install the app moon reader plus and use the fora dictionries app with it

Tested 4 dictionaries so far, none seems to work. I also have the same problem with Icarus Illumina XL. What did I do wrong?

In the hd pro check if your software is updated , the oldest firmware didnt work with dictionaries

I have the same problem; no matter what I do, can't manage to get the dictionary working. Anybody found a solution?
