Calibre Content Server - file names

Sorry if this has been asked before, I looked around, but nothing appeared.

I'm trying to use the calibre content server to open .cbr files on my iPad (using the Safari browser to access the server).

All that works great!

Except when I go to download a file: it appears to be taking on the naming convention of the actual file in the \calibre directory. I've tried playing around with all the template naming options everywhere, but nothing I can find seems to affect the name - short of changing the actual meta data on the book itself.

Then name of files downloaded from the content server is suggested by the content server to be title - author.fmt The browser is free to ignore that suggestion if it wants to.

Agh, that makes sense. So there's no way to change it then?

Not without running calibre from source and changing the code.
