Hold Status in Non-Member Libraries
Is there a way to check the hold status of a book (# waiting and # copies) in a library for which you do NOT have a library card?
Just trying to see if it is worth getting an out-of-state card. |

Sure, just go to the library's OverDrive page, select the book you're interested in, and it'll give you the information you want. Membership not required.

I think if the Overdrive library you're looking at is a consortium, and that consortium buys specific books that must be made available first to its members, you either may not be able to see the hold amount, or there will be a notice that the number might change, depending on which of the consortium libraries your access is from.
