jumping mobipocket

i converted some books over to mobipocket format but they appear to randomly jump back pages which is annoying.
anyone had that problem?

How did you convert to MobiPocket format? I've done some conversions using Book Designer.

they were A4 pdfs then used mobipocket creator to convert.

Have you tried viewing these converted files on both the iLiad and your computer? That way you might see if the iLiad's MobiPocket has a bug.

AFAIK the random jump back is a common problem of the Mobipocket Reader program. It is not easy to go back a page in HTML. HTML is a format which has to be rendered from the start of the file to get good results. Due to the memory and computing restraints of PDAs Mobipocket Reader has to use the blocks of data the .prc file format uses to go back in the file. This can easily cause problems in finding the previous page.
