Outgrabing your mome raths this weekend?
For absolutely no good reason (or indeed any reason) that I can think of, I realised the other day that 'Jabberwocky' can be sung to a variety of tunes. On the grounds that I don't see why I should be the only person afflicted with this knowledge, herewith the list so far:
The Marselleise; suitably heroic Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles; suitably majestic Ode to Joy; For all the saints; Jerusalem; Brill!! Once in Royal David's City; Hark! The Herald Angels Sing; In dulce Jubilo; Bobby Shafto; The Internationale; The Red Flag (at last we know what they're singing at the end of the Labour Party conference!) Greensleeves Lillibullero The Campbells are coming Troika from Lieutenant Kige Any additions? |

We should assemble a greatest versions mp3 collection
Maybe Red can perform it to the "Yellow Rose of Texas" and Hugo & Lefty to "Lilly Marlane" |

Hugo on guitar, I always figured Hugo for drums, shows what I know. Is Lefty still working on the French Horn?

Works quite well to the "Kyrie" in Mozart's Requiem.

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done it. The marching choir of acutelated pandaborgs belting it out to 'Jerusalem' and clashing their spears on their shields is getting a bit noisy now.
