How to use a dictionary efficiently?

As for the moment there is no built-in dictionary in the DR800 I´ve been trying to use one (english-spanish, free download) in a very traditional way:

1. I close my book
2 I open the dictionary book (converted to epub)
3. I search the desired word
4. I come back to my book...

But the whole proccess takes ages!!! Does anybody know a faster method? Or maybe there is already a translating application ?

Thanks!

No firmware for DR800 supports dictionaries or mobipocket format.

Only 1.x versions of firmware for DR1000 support mobipocket and mobipocket dictionaries.

I'd love my DR to have the free StarDict dictionary format support like some other ereaders out there have.

Hola javifields

As the proverb says " A buenas horas, mangas verdes!" ... (I´ve been on holidays: no PC, no laptop, no internet, not in Hecho but in Benasque this time )

you can find the english spanish dictionary here

http://www.1insaat.com/uploads/TrbBl...566702_302.pdf

However the searching procedure was really slow and sometimes it didn´t work at all.

Have you already tried StarDict? Is it easy to install/use?

Good, maybe using the DR800+ package with DR1000 uds, which gives you tabs vertically down the right, might speed up the process. No closing the book and opening dictionary necessary, just switch tabs. YMMV
