Thanks for the kindle help
Thank you for all the help in getting my mother's kindle3 set up.
@kovidgoyal for everything @chaley after calibre itself Plugboards were the biggest help of all. @ in no particular order Starson17 dwanthny Itimpi manichean idolse Gary_M_mugford countless others Thanks for the tips, ideas, advice, conversation and encouragement. My 85 year old mother loves her kindle3 and she was quite scared when I said I was sending it to her. I was a little scared myself as it isn't the most intuitive compared to the Sony and my mother is often tech-challenged.. She is on her 3rd ebook in 4 days and seems to have paged through many of the collections to see what was available. Twice she called me for help and today she called me to tell me how much she was enjoying it. She said that she can read easier and faster and her arthritus did not bother her when turning pages, and it fits easily in her coat pocket. I was totally thrilled and want to pass on the thanks to those who deserve it. Helen |

Although I can't remember helping, you're welcome. I'm glad your mother enjoys reading ebooks.

You are welcome, although I don't recall any specific help. My mom is also happily poking through my library (from 1850 miles away), and recommends books to me and to my wife. I think her services to us have been greater than ours to her - it's nice to have someone recommending books that you can trust.
