Arrow Genre Mash-Ups

I love books that fit into more that one genre, like Sci-Fi mixed with mystery (which is why I published Blood Orbit). What are some other good Genre mash-ups that you don't normally see? Like are there any good Fantasy/Detective novels out there, or Comedy/Thrillers, or Action/Documentaries?
Some of mash ups I have found are
Soulless (The Parasol Protectorate) a mix of Victorian politics and monsters
Dream Park a detective story with science fiction setting and fantasy holograms
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies kind of self explanatory there :-)

Any you can think of?

That reminds me of Neil Gaiman's "Snow, Glass, Apples", which is the Snow White story from a different viewpoint.

If you can still find it, Seeing Ear Theatre did an excellent version of Snow Glass Apples. Not sure if it is the same version as the one you can buy on CD or not.

I enjoyed Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter a fair bit. There were some good chuckles in it, and the alternative history was enjoyable. Thanks for sharing the other suggested titles!

The Harry Dresden series is a pretty good Chicago Gumshoe/Wizard combo.

(Fantasy/Detective stories)

Looking at what is being offered; the Romance/Vampire (or Romance/anything )
seems to be selling a lot.

Luck;
Ken

I just read Soulless (The Parasol Protectorate) and thoroughly enjoyed it. It features a strong protagonist and a set of interesting characters who support her. I look forward to seeing the relationships and characters develop more in the next book. What I appreciated most, though, about the book, was its sense of humour and sharp wit.

Thanks for the recommendation above!

I did a quick internet check and didn't find it available as an ebook. Due to its form (the printed book is only a little bit larger than many ebook readers, it's in black-and-white, and the lettering is not very small) it should be suitable for ebook conversion.

One of the things I like about the story is that it's a continuation of the original Collodi story, including its tone. The original story is much darker than the many adaptions that have been made of the story.
